A Covercote is a specialist animal clipper blade that leaves approximately 5mm of hair, designed to skim the top coat for a natural summer finish or provide extra protection on sensitive areas. Key features include a 5mm cut length & wider-spaced teeth

Uses and Benefits
  • Summer Finish: Skims the upper hair off without leaving tracks or harsh lines.
  • Sensitive Protection: Leaves longer hair on legs or for pink-skinned horses needing extra defense.
  • Special Conditions: Helpful for clipping ponies or horses with Cushing’s disease (PPID) by managing thick undercoats.
  • Suitable for all large Lister Horse & Cattle clippers.
  • Covercote blades leave a longer coat which is ideal for extra protection on places like legs & at times when a longer clip is required before show season, or out of season clipping
  • Leaves 5mm of hair.
